Final Nudge Shipments & A Huge Thank You

Hi backers,

Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful holiday break. First, a few updates on final Nudge shipments. Second, we huge thank you for a wonderful year!

Shipping Updates

By now, we have shipped almost all Nudge pre-orders! If you have not received your Nudge, you likely fall into one of these categories:

• We are missing your backer survey (about 35 backers)
• We reached out to validate your international address or PO address and haven't heard back yet (about 5 backers)
• Your Nudge is in transit (you should receive a shipping email)

If you are not sure why your Nudge has not arrived, or need assistance with anything, please don't hesitate to message us on Kickstarter or email us at hello@nanuelectrics.com and we will make sure we get your Nudge to you!

A Big Thank You

Thank you so much for backing and supporting us this year. This was our first year as a business and we are so grateful to have you all along for the journey! We sent out a thank you via our newsletter but wanted to also send a note of appreciation as we know not all of you saw it.

Nanu was born out of a passion for product design and timeless objects. Our goal is to reshape people’s relationship with time and routine. In 2022, we restored old time pieces, dove deep into the history of time-oriented designers, and started building our own products.

As we reflect on the year, we have so much to celebrate and be thankful for. In February, we took the big leap and committed to Nanu full time. By Spring we launched Nudge, and with all of your help, were able to invest in quality manufacturing and production.

In the fall, we welcomed our first employee, Jessa. Growing from two to three meant a lot, because good design happens when a team of thoughtful people meld ideas to create something special.

Nanu has a lot planned for 2023! Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement about what we're working on next (you can spot a little sneak peek in one of the photos above ^_^)

More Shipping Updates!

Hi backers!

A couple shipping updates for you. Most of the Nudge orders went out last week. You should have received a shipping confirmation and tracking email. If you haven't received a tracking email please keep reading!

Unfortunately, the knobs that arrived late had some defects so last week we spent a bit of time doing quality control and had to reject part of the batch. Our knob supplier just shipped us more so we can finish all orders by this week. Your order has not shipped if…

• You are a close family member or friend - we love you, thank you!
• Some international orders - we also had a little trouble confirming a few addresses with USPS so keep an eye out from us triple confirming your address!
• You ordered multiple Nudges - most likely one of your Nudges shipped, but we prioritized getting everyone at least one Nudge first. We will ship the remainder of yours this week!
   

We took a couple days off last week for Thanksgiving to recharge with family. We are now back to final assembly and fulfillment.

Locking addresses + charging cards!

Hi Backers! 

A few logistics and timing updates for you this week.

Locking Addresses

Kickstarter Backers ONLY: 

• We will lock shipping addresses in the next 48 hrs. That means you have two days to update your shipping address in your BackerKit survey. (We've given a bit extra time both because we need it, but also there's about 60 of you that need to fill out your surveys!)
• If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://nudge.backerkit.com 
• If you don't fill out your survey we will hold your order until we hear from you as to make sure we don't send your Nudge to the wrong place!

Backer Kit Pre-Orders: 

• If you ordered on Backer Kit (not Kickstarter) you do not receive a backer survey. We apologize for the confusion on this! If you do need to update your address, please shoot us a note at hello@nanuelectrics.com and we will make sure you're all set. 

Charging Credit Cards

We plan to charge cards for add-on items you purchased or any additional funds you may owe through BackerKit on Saturday. This charge will appear on your bank statement as NANU Design Inc. Please make sure that you have the correct card information on file. If any issues arise with your payment you’ll receive an email letting your know to correct your payment information.

Timing

The past ten days have been a nail biter as we were waiting on one delayed Nudge component. Thankfully, the reset knobs arrived yesterday and we are flying through production. We therefore are a few days behind on assembly. We are still hustling hard to get these out as fast as possible! We have changed flights for our Thanksgiving holiday plans in order to finish this batch as it's very important to us you all receive Nudge as soon as possible. We expect to start shipping Saturday. We apologize again for the delays and truly thank you for your patience!

Surveys and Credit Update

Just a quick update on the surveys. You should receive your survey by end of day.

UPDATE: We decided to add the $5 shipping credit to everyone's accounts rather than a coupon code. This should make checkout a bit easier (one less step). You should see a $5 credit at checkout:
